Ink

Our designs are printed onto a canvas using the Giclee print method.
The French word Giclee (pronounced jee-clay) means to spray or squirt.
Giclee prints are accepted around the world in the finest galleries and
museums as a true fine art medium.

The Giclee process uses advanced 2880dpi print technology to apply archival Ultra Chrome pigment ink onto canvas. The Giclee print process provides excellent colour and accuracy with a quality that rivals traditional silver-halide and gelatin printing processes.

Your artwork will last 75+ years and to ensure its longevity we have a few recommendations:

• Like all fine art works, Giclee prints must be protected from moisture
  and abrasion.

• When cleaning use a soft, lint free, dry cloth.

• Though the ink is fade resistant we still recommend that you hang
  your artwork out of direct sunlight and humid areas.

Canvas

We use heavy weight 100% cotton canvas that is acid free. The canvas is stretched around a thick 34cm pine Stretcher Frame and is Image Wrapped around the edges using an additional 5cm of canvas. This allows for a
seamless transition around the frame.

Lacquer

Our canvases are sprayed with two coats of lacquer to protect them against soiling, handling and will also allow them to be dusted and cleaned easily.

Packaging

Our canvases are wrapped in a protective layer of bubble wrap and thick cardboard before being sent to you.
