My name is Colleen Steel and I was born in South Africa in 1975
and now live in Perth, Australia.

I started drawing and painting from a very young age. I studied art
at school and later qualified as a Graphic Designer. I have always
had a passion for creating something new - from painting on
canvas and graphic design, to interior decorating and carpentry. I am
happiest when I have a creative outlet and Crazy Cow Designs
has provided me with the opportunity to share my love of art with
you.

The inspiration for my art comes from my incredible childhood,
living out in the country, surrounded by fields of sugar cane,
towering forests, farm animals and wild ones too and always a
puddle, dam or river to play, swim and fish in.

I know that the world seen through the eyes of a child is a fun and
exciting place and I hope my artwork will add to their experience.

My aim is to offer quality artwork to little people of all ages.
Whether it be for a nursery, bedroom or playroom I want to offer
something special that will capture their imagination & inspire
their creativity.

I am slowly building up a series of pieces and should have
something new for you to look at each month.
